The Pacific Cup Ambassador Program gives sailors, families, friends, alumni, and supporters a meaningful way to support one of the world’s great offshore races — and the values it represents — whether you’re racing, cheering from shore, or following along from afar.

What Is the Pacific Cup Ambassador Program?

The Ambassador Program is a community-powered way to support the Pacific Cup — The Fun Race to Hawaiʻi — while helping ensure its long-term success as a nonprofit, environmentally responsible event.

As an Ambassador, you help introduce the Pacific Cup to people and organizations you already know and trust and invite them to support a race that stands for wind-powered adventure, environmental stewardship, safety, education, and the Aloha spirit.

All contributions directly support the Pacific Cup Yacht Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Who Can Be an Ambassador?

Anyone who believes in the Pacific Cup.

Ambassadors include skippers and crew, family members and friends, alumni racers, yacht club members, and professionals who believe in adventure, sustainability, and community. Family sponsorships are welcome, and even modest contributions make a real impact.
 

How the Ambassador Program Works

1. Reach out to someone you already know — a company, department, family member, or business contact.

2. They support the Pacific Cup with a sponsorship starting at $250.

3. You become a Pacific Cup Ambassador and help power the race and its mission.

How to Become a Pacific Cup Ambassador

1. Secure a sponsorship or donation of $250 or more

2. Submit the sponsorship details to the Pacific Cup team via email (sponsorship@pacificcup.org)

3. Checks should be made payable to: Pacific Cup Yacht Club

4. Once confirmed, Ambassador status and benefits are activated

Important Deadline: All Ambassador-sponsored contributions must be received by Monday, June 15, 2026.
