As previously announced, to be eligible for the overall Pacific Cup trophy, your boat must have a Certified PHRF rating. This means that you need to submit a valid ORR certificate or you need to get weighed and measured.
PCYC has organized several lower-cost weigh-ins. You can fill out the information page here to get a spot. Space is limited, and priority will be given to fully paid entrants. You are not confirmed till we contact you back.
In order to help skippers get their boats weighed and measured as promptly, efficiently, and cheaply as possible, PCYC has arranged three special, multi-boat weighing and measuring events for boats racing in NCPHRF divisions and weighing more than 6,000 lbs. as follows:
a. Saturday, February 10, 2018, 0900 to 1130;
b. Saturday, March 17, 2018, 1030 to 1300; and
c. Saturday, June 23, 2018, 0845 to 1115 (for non-Bay Area boats)
The cost is $200, payable by cash or check at the event. Skippers for larger NC-PHRF boats may make other arrangements for weighing and measuring. Boats weighed under ORR and previously under NC-PHRF will ordinarily not need to be weighed again.
Please contact Buzz Blackett (510.917.0165, email@example.com) if you have any questions about the events. Please contact Dick Horn (925.899-7253, firstname.lastname@example.org) or Cree Partridge at Berkeley Marine Center (510.843.8195, email@example.com) if you have any technical questions about the measurement process or operation of the travel hoist. And please join us in thanking Dick and Cree for their generous contribution of time and expertise.
