Safety at Sea Seminar, Vallejo, Feb 6
Signup Deadline Passed. Contact us to check for last-minute capacity before attempting to register.
This is the official USSailing-Approved Safety at Sea Seminar, Pacific Cup style. Mulitiple ocean veteran Chuck Hawley, on loan from West Marine, will moderate and conduct several parts of this day-long exercise in topics ranging from liferafts to fire to medical emergencies and more.
Of course, the best way to survive an emergency is to avoid having one, so that emphasis will be there. The entire program, while suitable for any trans-oceanic voyage, will be specifically oriented to sailing across the Pacific in, say, the 2010 Pacific Cup race.
