 A few augmentations

First, sorry to those of you (all of you?) who were not able to read the
email sent earlier this week.  When we cut 'n' pasted the sponsor list, the
formatting changed and, well, that is a good lesson for not going offshore with
things you have not tested first.   Second, a few folks were a mite unclear on when the parties at
Kaneohe Yacht Club
will be.  They will be the week of July 27
and ending with the Awards Celebration August 1.
Our plan is to put the tickets on sale Tuesday after Memorial
day.  But the best laid plans gang aft agley, so it might be a few days later.
We will email this list with the heads up.

Got Blog?

We are preparing a grand river of blogfeeds for the PCYC website.  See a
sample below.  If you have a blog, let us know and we will link to it.  If it
has a feed enabled (RSS, Atom, whatever) we will add it to the grand river of
blogs that will get displayed on our website.   We are tracking:

Beat
Sarcoma (elise)
, Cirrus,
ET,
EVK4,
Morpheus,
Plus
Sixteen
, and Oceanaire

If you don't have a blog, you'll want one you can update by email (from the
water!) and that has a RSS feed.  We've had good success  with blogharbor
, sailblogs,
and blogger
Sometimes you do need to pay for the mobile blogging capability, but it is well
worth it.   The Cirrus
and Elise
blogs seem to contain excellent narratives on boat prep.

Starts Coming
Up.

Hope you are salivating over our upcoming parties.  Well,
apparently there is some sort of race first, and it's important to hit a number
of the key deadlines.  Meanwhile, Bobbi is working on the start dates.  It's
challenging this year.  Our goal is to get you to Hawaii in time for a bunch of
fun.

Hmm.  What else?   We're looking for additional sponsors to take advantage of the race
opportunities for exposure.  We're starting to gather our volunteer cadre for
the 2010 race.  Reply to this email with interest or ideas!   Okay, time for dinner.  Get back to work on the boats!
