NOR Clarification - NOR IV-3 Water Tanks and Drinkwater

Am I correct in interpreting NOR IV-3 to mean that for a crew of three the minimum permanently installed drinking water system is one 15 gallon water tank with a pump and hoses?

While I appreciate replies from all participants, I would ask comnentators who are inspectors or members of the PCYC technical committe to identify themselves as such.

I tried to respond to the but for some reason it did not post??? Here it is again, Your interpretation is reasonable and from the inspections point of view the 15 gallon fixed tank will suffice for a crew of 3 assuming it is installed securely. Your inspectors will also be concerned that the rest of the water is carried in appropriate containers and secured against loss due to container failure or damage. Skip Ely

Is this a trick question? you cannot race with three people on board... 2 double handed, 4 minimum on crewed boats.
