Aloha.  Entries are open for the 2012 Pacific Cup. The Adventure of a Lifetime starts here.

Enter the race now.  Start with the boat profile/entry form, and then do the entry fee form and other forms and information come later.

The Notice Of Race may be found at the 2012 Race Documents page, along with other documents as they are finalized.

We're looking at making the 2012 race to Hawaii a fantastic experience.  E komo mai! (Welcome!)

Once you've got your entry in, the real fun begins.  Practice races, boat preparation, seminars, inspection, and a few more bits of information to supply.

Remember that at least 30% of the crew, including the Skipper and one other person must attend a USSailing or ISAF-approved Safety at Sea Seminar within five years before the race.  Pac Cup plans to sponsor at least one of these in May of 2012.

Here's the shopping list:

1. Your completed entry form/profile with all mandatory information supplied

2. Your completed entry payment .

3. A completed crew profile for each person crewing on the boat

4. A completed communications profile for the boat

5. A signed waiver from each person on board and a signed Skipper’s Certificate

6. A signed copy of the appropriate rating certificate

7. A copy of the liferaft certificate (as per OSR 4.20.5, copy to be submitted to inspector)

8. Payment(s) as set forth in Section 12 (to be submitted as specified)

9. A photo of the yacht is requested for use in the Race Guide.  This may be submitted  on your boat profile now or later.

10. Meet all equipment requirements in the Notice of Race and Offshore Special Regulations.

11. Schedule and pass your inspection.

12. Skipper and at least one other (not less than 30% of crew) attend Safety at Sea seminar within five years of the race.
