The Fun Race

Scoring Software Available

Obsolete:

2008 File now Available for Official Scoring Software (corrected .ini file posted)

You, too, can use the same software used by the comms vessel and race committee to calculate standings, predict finishes, and decide who will get cheers and jeers for the day's performance.

Download the software below and the .ini file.  Put them all in the same directory, read the ReadMe and off you go!

(Note, the race is over and the software is no longer available.)

Pre-Departure Information and Advice

Counting Down the Hours

With TTD (time to departure) counted in days or hours rather than weeks, most boats are in a high degree of preparation.  For skippers and crews in that mode, we're going to be brief with a few last-minute items.

1.  Be sure you have closed the loop with your inspector on any open items.

Team Entries

No I in Team, but there is a ME!

Team Entries to date:

Please welcome the newest Singlehanded Sailing Society Team Entry into the Pacific Cup, SSS Team NOX.  The participants are No Ka Oi (Phil Mummah), Oceanaire (Garrett Caldwell), and X-Dream (Steen Moller).  NOX is, of course, the boats' initials.

Updated and Revised FINAL Division Assignments and Start Times

Final Final FINAL Ratings! (rev 5)

Yup, we got it done.  The big change, the two DH divisions both start on Monday.  The big fun?  Watching the Contessa, which weighs about as much as all of its competitors combined, tiptoe through through its division.  More fun you want?  How about SAILING TO HAWAII?  Yeah, that's fun too.  Spreadsheet attached as  http://pacificcup.org/files/PCR2008FINAL.xls.
